Orange Blood Dot

A Blood Dot Fly with an orange colored dot (yoke) is the second go to fly, second only to Apricot Supreme, as often many eggs will have a darker orange yoke. This triggers fish to feed especially during in clear to slightly turbid water conditions. The body(albumin) is made from Egg colored Glo-bug material while the dot (yoke) is Golden Nugget or similar color Glo-bug material. Sometimes a slight change in color will trigger a strike especially in pools where the fish have gone stale and ignore even the most realistic pattern to natural food.
